Job Description
Ko tā Te Tari Whakatau he whakatau i ngā take tiriti me ngā take Takutai Moana ki waenganui i ngā hapū me te Karauna.

Te Haeata/The Opportunity
We have an Advisor, Funding – fixed term (or seconded) full-time role available in the funding team of Te Tira Takutai Moana until March 2027. This role is based in Wellington reporting to the Manager, Takutai Moana.
The Advisor, Funding is responsible for undertaking analysis and processing of funding and reimbursement requests relating to applications under the Takutai Moana legislation (te Takutai Moana Act 2011 and the Ngā Rohe Moana o Ngā Hapū o Ngāti Porou Act 2019). This role will help build internal relationships and liaise with applicant groups and their legal representatives.

Te Tari Whakatau is an independent departmental agency hosted by the Ministry of Justice - Te Tāhū o te Ture. Our work involves resolving historical Treaty of Waitangi claims and supporting the recognition of Māori customary rights and interests in Takutai Moana.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $74,634 and $100,846 based on skills and experience.
