Te Haeata/The Opportunity
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to join a small, busy, and highly valued team at the heart of the Office of the Chief Justice.
We are looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused professional who enjoys variety, takes pride in great service, and brings calm confidence to a fast-moving environment. In this role, you will coordinate the administrative and logistical requirements for ceremonial and judicial events, alongside supporting travel, facilities, and practical day-to-day services.

- Provide friendly, reliable administrative and logistical support across business services, events, and communications activities.
- Coordinate meetings, judicial events, workshops, travel, accommodation, venues, materials, and calendars so key activities are well organised and run smoothly.
- Liaise professionally with a wide range of people, including judiciary, internal teams, government offices, contractors, suppliers, and external agencies.
- Support the day-to-day operation of the office by managing supplies, mail, couriers, records, shared spaces, building matters, and facilities requests.
- Help maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming workplace by supporting health, safety, wellbeing, compliance, and practical on-site arrangements.
Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience
- Experience in administration, personal assistance, customer service, hospitality, reception, events, or another support-focused role.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint, along with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities, timelines, and practical logistics with composure.
- A collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach, with the initiative to anticipate needs, solve problems, and pitch in when required.
- Professionalism, discretion, resilience, and a willingness to learn more about the Judiciary and Te Ao Māori.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $67,066 and $90,008 based on skills and experience.
