Job Description
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
Lead a specialist team at the forefront of identity, cybersecurity and network services that support critical Ministry operations. This is an opportunity to shape team performance, drive operational excellence, and lead through complexity in a fast-paced digital environment. Based in Wellington, you will lead approximately five Architects and Engineers while partnering with stakeholders across the Ministry.
You will:
- Lead a team of Architects and Engineers across Network, Identity and Cybersecurity
- Coordinate network incident response and problem management
- Drive consistent processes and operational practices
- Act as the escalation point for internal and external stakeholders
- Develop capability and performance across your team

Technical expertise is not essential. You will be supported by a team of experienced technical specialists and will primarily focus on leadership, coordination and delivery.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The remuneration band for this role is $128,427 to $176,789 – while the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
