Job Description
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
Join the Digital Te Au Reka team and provide technical leadership across products and services that support the justice system. Working alongside Service Managers, architects, vendors and delivery teams, you will shape product roadmaps, drive continuous improvement and ensure secure, reliable and high performing digital services that deliver value for New Zealanders.
In this role, you will:
- Lead technical teams and deliver high quality solutions
- Shape product roadmaps and guide development
- Maintain secure, reliable and scalable services
- Partner with stakeholders, suppliers and technical teams
- Drive continuous improvement and support incident resolution

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Bring senior application engineering experience
- Lead Agile development and testing teams
- Design solutions aligned with architecture standards
- Bring experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Bring an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application
- Tertiary degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $118,904 – $153,402 based on skills and experience.
