This is an exciting time for the Ministry as we strive to reduce the time it takes to deliver our services to people.
We have a full-time permanent Team Leader position in the Auckland High Court. This operational and management role is all about driving performance through the development of our staff to deliver timely justice services to all customers of the court within specific jurisdictions.
As the Team Leader, Senior Courts, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the efficient and effective operation of New Zealand's High Court. Leading a dedicated team, you'll manage day-to-day work priorities, allocate resources, and ensure the smooth flow of both criminal and civil cases through the Court.
This is an exciting opportunity for proven people leaders and established line managers looking for a challenge.
Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience
You will be able to offer the following:
- Demonstrated experience leading, managing and coaching staff for high performance
- A focus on customers
- A knowledge of or strong interest in the Justice sector
- A relevant tertiary degree or equivalent experience.
- Manage staff and resources within the registry
- Performance appraisals and staff review
- Provide and develop training
- Collect statistics
- Exercise statutory powers

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The remuneration band for this role is $74,634 to $100,846 – while the appointing salary will be between $74,634 to $95,591, based on skills and experience.
