Job Description
If you enjoy partnering with Senior Leaders in a complex environment and across diverse workgroups to make a positive strategic impact, then this role could be for you.
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
We're looking for a Strategic PX Business Partner who thrives on enabling organisational success through people. This is a strategic HR role — perfect for someone who loves working alongside senior leaders to shape workforce capability, culture, and leadership for the future.
In this role, you'll be more than an advisor — you'll be a trusted strategic partner, helping leaders plan their workforce, build leadership capability, and design people strategies that enable business goals. While some complex operational HR work is part of the role, your main focus will be strategic influence, workforce planning and future capability development.
You'll use your deep understanding of business priorities, people data and trends to provide insights that inform decisions. You'll also lead or advise on organisational change, culture and engagement, and capability initiatives across your portfolio.
This role will suit someone who:
- Enjoys thinking ahead and helping leaders anticipate and plan for workforce shifts.
- Can translate people strategies into actionable plans.
- Has strong relationship skills and enjoys coaching and influencing senior leaders.
- Brings confidence and experience across complex ER matters.

- Strong understanding of people data and insights, with the ability to translate trends into strategy and action.
- Proven ability to coach and develop leadership capability in line with organisational frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in organisational design and change initiatives.
- Generalist HR expertise, including the ability to manage complex ER issues when required.
