Business Support Administrator – The Centre for Family Violence and Sexual Violence Prevention

We steward the family violence and sexual violence system and drive realisation of the cross-agency strategy—Te Aorerekura. We work in partnership with communities across Aotearoa New Zealand, placing survivors, families, and whānau at the heart of everything we do.
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and well organised Business Support Administrator to join the Centre.
In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the Executive Board. You will provide comprehensive support across a range of business functions, helping to deliver effective coordination, financial processing, and team administration.
In this role, you will:
- support contract administration, reporting and records management.
- process invoices, support monthly financials, and manage purchase card activities.
- assist with a wide variety of administrative tasks, including organising meetings, managing diaries, maintaining files, and making travel arrangements.
- assist with recruitment, onboard new staff, and maintain accurate team records
- build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to a positive team culture.

Where no two days will be the same, your highly organised approach and excellent attention to detail would be key to your success in this role. You'll be pleasant and friendly but also not afraid to speak up and push back when needed.
We would like to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- proven experience in administrative support, including email and diary management and coordinating meetings.
- strong customer service mindset with demonstrated initiative and ability to problem solve
- excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- a flexible, can-do attitude and work well in a fast-paced team environment
- proficient in using MS Office Suite and SharePoint
- experience with finance processes, including coding, and tracking invoices, and managing purchase card and reimbursement processes is advantageous.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $55,343 and $70,144 based on skills and experience.
