Te Haeata/The Opportunity
We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Executive Support professional to join the Digital Performance team in a permanent, full-time role.
In this fast-paced role, you'll provide dedicated support to senior leaders, including the Chief Digital Officer (CDO), Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and the wider Digital Leadership Team. You'll be the first point of contact for these leaders—managing time, priorities, and relationships with professionalism and precision.
You'll also play a key role in creating structure, maintaining momentum, and supporting day-to-day operations across a complex and fast-moving portfolio.
Your day-to-day may include:
- managing calendars and inboxes to ensure priorities are met and nothing gets missed
- preparing meeting packs, tracking actions, and coordinating follow-ups
- supporting recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and general team logistics
- bringing structure and consistency to team processes and operations
- building trusted relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders
- working closely with others across Digital to keep work aligned and moving.

What you'll bring to the role:
- Proven experience in an Executive Support, Executive Assistant, or senior administrative role
- A good understanding of how government agencies operate
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and sound judgment
- Confidence working independently while building strong working relationships

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The remuneration band for this role is $59,729 to $80,794 – while the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience, we are willing to pay higher in the band to attract strong candidates into this role.
