Job Description
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented regulatory policy specialist to join the Ministry's Anti Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) programme, for 12 month fixed-term position.
This is a fast-paced work environment that would suit a self-starter with great relationship management skills. This role requires a strong policy skill set demonstrating strategic thinking, preferably with emphasis on regulatory policy. A knowledge of AML/CFT is desirable, but not necessary for the right candidate.
Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience
The successful candidates will have a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in:
- providing clear advice on complex policy
- delivering quality strategic thinking and briefings in a government context
- prioritising, planning and delivering on multiple workstreams
- collaborating across a range of stakeholders to deliver on outcomes.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary will be between $111,766- $154,680, based on skills and experience.
