The Advisor - Office of the Chief Coroner, is a new position based in Wellington. It is an exciting opportunity to contribute to positive change in Aotearoa's justice system.
With the ability to join dots, establish and nurture key relationships, you will be instrumental in providing the required support for the Senior Advisor, Manager and Chief Coroner to deliver the vision for the Coroners Court. This is a pivotal role in the Office, being a trusted advisor to the Chief and Deputy Coroner.

- You have the ability to build and maintain relationships, especially when it comes to working in partnership with the Judiciary (or equivalent) and establishing key connections in a large, complex organisation.
- You are a high performer who can juggle competing priorities in an often fast-paced environment.
- You are comfortable identifying, analysing and solving problems, whilst seeking out opportunities for improvement.
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and are able to shape and present advice, tailored for specific audiences.
- You are resilient and have the ability to deal with sensitive and sometimes graphic information and details.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The remuneration band for this role: $73,634 to $100,846 and the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
