Te Haeata/The Opportunity
Are you an experienced executive support professional with a passion for providing excellent administrative and secretarial services?
In this role you will directly support the Group Manager of the Courts and Tribunals Regional Service Delivery and their direct reports, where required. This is an office-based role as you will be working directly with your manager and/or supporting the team on a day-to-day basis.
You will coordinate the administrative activities of the Group and the Group Manager's Office, including but not limited to:
- Prepare for senior level meetings, including gathering, collating, distributing related materials and organising diaries.
- Arranging travel and accommodation
- Developing and organising presentations and associated materials
- Preparing replies to often sensitive or confidential correspondence
- Establishing and maintaining an appropriate information management system
This role involves liaising with executives and senior leadership teams across the Ministry, often dealing with matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature. It requires someone who will bring professionalism, maturity, and discretion as well as their can-do attitude to the role.
Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience
The Executive Support to the General Manager is a crucial role in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment. Ideally, we are seeking someone resilient and comfortable working with ambiguity who also demonstrates:
- extensive experience providing executive-level support in large, complex organisations.
- proficiency with a wide range of computer-based secretarial, administrative, and presentation applications.
- effective communication in individual and group settings, including in sensitive situations.
Knowledge of the public sector and the machinery of government would be advantageous.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $58,729 and $80,794 based on skills and experience.
