Service Manager – Whanganui District Court, Permanent, Fulltime
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
We are looking for someone with experience managing a team, providing guidance, training, and support, to ensure the team's efficient performance and professional development, whilst maintaining a positive team culture and environment. This role reports to a Manager Justice Service and works collaboratively with the team to strengthen people's trust in the Law of Aotearoa New Zealand.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Operational management experience, ideally in the District Court and Tribunals environment
- Previous experience in managing and developing the capability of staff.
- Proven leadership skills to motivate and lead staff to achieve targets and understand their contribution to the bigger picture.
- Good track record in supporting and implementing changes to business and work processes.
- Be adaptable in a changing operations and customer centric environment.
- To possess well-developed interpersonal skills which will enable you to establish relationships and motivate others.
- Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships
- Strong analytical, tactical, and strategic ability

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $97,208 – $135,539 based on skills and experience.
