Te Whiwhinga Mahi/The Opportunity
The Ministry of Justice Health, Safety and Security Rōpu are seeking an experienced people leader for the position Regional Security Manger Lower North Region. Reporting to the Director National Security Operations this role will manage the day-to-day Ministry of Justice court security operations of the Lower North region teams.
We are seeking someone with experience in managing security teams in an operational environment, experience in managing high risk and complex security operations, managing geographically dispersed teams and commitment to embedding Mātauranga Māori into your day-to-day mahi. The successful candidate will need to reside in the Lower North area.
He pūkenga tou/Skills and Experience
- Relevant security qualifications such as the national certificate in security or the equivalent knowledge, skills, and work experience in a security environment.
- Applied knowledge of the Protective Security requirements and the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 is desirable but not essential
- A full current NZ drivers' licence is essential
- Has the ability to gain a national Secret level security clearance
- A New Zealand citizen/ resident

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The remuneration band for this role is $107,540 to $150,211. Appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
