Job Description
Permanent, Part-time opportunity available.
24 hours per week.

As our Administrator Workflow and Reporting, you will work with another Administrator jointly having responsibility for logging and tracking all requests for information from Ministers and members of the public. You will manage the official correspondence database and delivery of official correspondence to teams, ensuring that business units follow processes and guidelines to provide timely responses to these requests. This involves assessing incoming correspondence, acknowledging requesters, logging requests in the database, and updating records as progress is made. In this role you will also undertake regular reporting to ensure that responses are being completed, standards are being met and managers have visibility of the correspondence in progress.
This will be a busy and challenging role, so will require someone who is flexible, calm and can multi-task. You will be joining a supportive and enthusiastic team who have a genuine interest in sharing knowledge and supporting one another in an enjoyable, busy and sometimes challenging environment.

The Administrator Workflow and Reporting reports to the Team Leader in the Ministerial Relations and Services team, which is part of the Governance and Assurance team, in the Strategy, Governance and Finance Group at the Ministry of Justice.
The Ministerial Relations and Services team oversees and drafts responses to official correspondence, including Official Information Act and Privacy Act requests, Ministerial correspondence, Parliamentary questions and other pieces of correspondence for the Ministry.
Our team primarily works from the Justice Centre in Thorndon, Wellington.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
Salary Range: The remuneration band for this role is $52,343 to $72,249 . Appointing salary will based on skills and experience.
