System Analyst HRIS

In 2020 we implemented a new operating model which created the HRIS team. It has been an exciting time for the team, and we have an opportunity to get involved as part of the journey to see it build and develop over time. This is a permanent full-time position which reports to the Team Leader HRIS.
This role will be involved in the development and maintenance of the HRIS system and ongoing support for SAP and associated systems. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the organisational structure and position management at the Ministry whilst supporting business and system changes seeing them through the various stages ranging from business requirements, testing phases, process documentation, implementation, and continuous improvements.
He pūkenga tou/Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A high degree of computer literacy, including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
- The ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and effective networks across and within organisations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with SAP Employee Central and/ or Employee Central Payroll is desirable
- Experience managing organisational structures and position management is preferable
- Experience in providing specialist support to a payroll system within a large, complex and diverse organisation
- Proven experience developing and maintaining reports using various tools is desirable
- Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadline while still providing quality outputs.

Finance leads the design, development and delivery of effective financial strategies, policies, systems and management aligned to the Ministry's strategic direction. The team enables the Ministry to meet its financial reporting and taxation requirements, provide payroll, employee data, and financial transaction processing.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
Salary Range: The remuneration band for this role is $77,128 to $108,887, effective 1 June 2023 the remuneration band for this role will be $81,128 to $112,887 - the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
