Job Description
Te āhuatunga a te tūranga/About the Role
We are looking for two Senior Advisors to join our Design and Commissioning team in the Commissioning and Service Improvement Unit (CSI). In CSI, we work to support the delivery of positive change in the justice system for a safe and fair Aotearoa.
As a Senior Advisor, you will contribute to medium to large scale service design projects, by applying your broad knowledge of project management and design practices to support the development and delivery of enduring, customer-centric improvements.
These are fixed-term roles for 12 months.

The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and provides an opportunity to further develop your project management, process design, workshop facilitation, and change management skills using a range of improvement methodologies.
Ideally, the skills and experience we are looking for include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Project management experience
- A good understanding of design and of improvement methodologies
- Proven experience in delivering operational excellence through successful application of design and improvement methodologies
- A demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and effective networks across and within organisations
- Justice sector knowledge
- Comfort in working in a fast-paced environment and complex environment

Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $84,366 and $110,172 based on skills and experience.
