Executive Assistant to Chief Digital Officer
National Office, Wellington
Fixed term contract until 30 June 2023
Te āhuatunga a te tūranga/About the Role
Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our collaborative team.
You will be responsible for providing high quality executive management as well as administrative and secretarial services to the Chief Digital Officer. Making sure they are fully supported to undertake their day-to-day responsibilities and wider accountabilities.
The Executive Assistant works within a small team that supports the Senior Leaders in Digital Office, Corporate and Digital Services.
You will be positive, relationships focused, and you will love variety and the opportunity to work on lots of different things. You will support a range of processes and systems, working with the wider Team to ensure effective operation of the group.
He pūkenga tou/Skills and Experience
To be successful in the role you will need to bring proven experience working at an executive level of a medium to large-size organisation as well as the following:
- Strong relationship management experience, working through relationships to influence and support the leadership team
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and planning skills
- Ability to multi-task and to stay calm under pressure and proactive management of competing priorities and deadlines
- Competent working with a wide range of computer-based secretarial, administrative and presentation applications
- Experience in organising and co-ordinating activities and individuals at an executive level
- High emotional intelligence and resilience

Salary Range: The appointing salary for this role will be between $50,128 and $70,768 based on skills and experience.
