We have an exciting opportunity in a high performing content and library services team. The Library Advisor is based in Wellington in a large and complex government agency.
You will be a member of the Content and Library Services Team. Library Services are responsible for the provision of access to the physical and online library collections and for providing expert information research to staff. The wider team also provides day to day support & administration of physical & digital records. This position enables you to do a bit of everything, including:
- database management
- document supply
- general administration tasks
- serials management
- information research
To really shine in this role, you need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic and enjoy working collegially. You will have initiative and excellent attention to detail, and be willing to go the extra mile to ensure success. Excellent time management, communication and problem-solving skills are also essential. A library qualification or relevant experience is essential.
The Library Advisor works closely with the Senior Library Advisor and reports to the Manager, Content & Library Services. You will provide a strong focus on services that add value to the work of teams and projects.
Salary band is $54,359 - $63,951 - $73,544.
