Administration Support Officer, Coronial Services, Based in Christchurch
The Ministry of Justice established in 2007 a new National Coronial Service as part of the implementation of the Coroners Act 2006. The Coronial Services Unit supports the work of the Chief Coroner and 17 full-time Coroners located across New Zealand.

Calling on your previous administration experience along with skills of being flexible, calm, resilient and talented at multi-tasking, you'll play a key role in providing support to the Coroners and their Case Managers.
We are looking for a person that has a can-do attitude, a willingness and desire to learn and adapt easily in a changing environment, has outstanding written and verbal communications skills, being an excellent communicator who possesses a professional and confident phone manner and takes pride in providing great customer service then we want to hear from you.
We want to know that you have strong Word and Excel skills, can plan and organise your day's work effectively and can demonstrate empathy and a willingness to deal with sensitive material, work in both a reactive and proactive environment, then these skills and others will set you up for providing an excellent service to Coronial Services Unit staff.
The position is located at the Christchurch Coronial Services Office, based at our recently opened Christchurch Justice Emergency Services Precinct in the hub of the CBD.
A full New Zealand Driver Licence is required.
This is a challenging role that will allow you to utilise your administrative experience, people and relationship management skills to a high level and be part of the team that provides New Zealanders with a first-class Coronial Service.
The salary range for this role is: $43,744.00 to $50,787.00.
