The Policy Group is responsible for the provision of policy-related services to Ministers, providing well-researched advice on a range of justice related issues. The Group has three business units: Criminal Justice, Courts and Justice Services and Civil and Constitutional.
About the team and the role
Our Executive Support roles are responsible for providing high-level administrative, secretarial and logistical services to Senior Managers. You will contribute directly to the effectiveness of the Group and business unit by proactively supporting Senior Managers and teams as well as dealing with matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature at senior levels. A key success factor will be your ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and communicate on various levels with a wide range of people both within and outside the Ministry.
The position involves supporting the day-to-day activities of Senior Managers and working with the management team to deliver effective and timely administrative services across our group.
To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment
Skills and experience
We are looking for someone with strong experience as Executive Support who has a can-do attitude, demonstrates initiative, and has a strong disposition for problem solving. You will have sound written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail. Your proven time management, travel arranging, planning and organisational skills will enable you to remain calm under pressure and respond to changing needs and priorities. An understanding of Government processes is desirable.

The salary range for this role is $41,826 - $56,588.
