The Ministry has a clear vision to deliver modern, accessible, people-centred justice services and has a focus on improving services to customers and stakeholders to achieve this.
Finance is part of the Ministry's corporate group forming the Ministry's pit crew, enabling the business to do business and to deliver the Ministry's strategic intentions.
The Senior Accounts Advisor is a newly created position in our transactional services team. This team delivers financial processing services which meet Ministry goals for quality, timeliness, efficiency, and customer service.
You will have proven experience in full end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processing in a large organisation. In addition you will be someone who can identify areas for improvement and efficiencies, be 2IC to the Team Leader, and offer great customer service across the Ministry and to our external customers.

Strong attention to detail, with excellent problem solving skills where you consistently use your initiative to ensure the best outcome in each situation.
- Proven self management skills juggling conflicting priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer based financial systems (preferably Tech1) and significant experience in financial processing in a large, complex organisation.
- Well developed computer skills in the MS Office suite of products
- A history of success in a customer-focused environment.
The Senior Accounts Advisor will be part of a high performing team of advisors that strive to provide excellent processing services, while currently working in a change environment as we implement initiatives to improve our processing services.
Salary Range: $48,974 to $66,258
